Please note that you can hand in applications at any time, they will be handled as pre-applications. However, the earliest possible research start is about four months after the scholarship calls, which are usually beginning of October and March. So if you want your application to be considered for the autumn deadline, the earliest possible research stay is beginning of February, beginning of March would even be better. If you want your application to be considered for the spring deadline, the earliest possible research stay is August.
After each application deadline, all complete and valid applications will be evaluated and scored by a commission of the Medical University of Graz. The best applications will be recommended to the Austrian Marshall Plan Foundation which finally decides about the scholarships.
